You'd almost think you people are surprised that an ad might be overblown and excessive? Do you people not watch commercials? Read magazines?
While that may be the norm for advertising, I think we need to be open to the possibility that in this case it was Sister Dew who was overblown and excessive, and not the ad writer.
I seriously doubt she wrote that ad and the quotes used could easily have been manipulated to appear overblown out of context. Someone should read the book and figure it out.

This is intended satirically, right?
As much as this whole thread is, yes.

I wonder if someday you will reap what you sow for all the subtle mocking you do of the Church and its culture at nearly every post. And for somebody who voted "yes" on Prop 8. Dude, you must really be internally conflicted.

Oh, come on crocket, get off the soap box. Are you going to defend that Sheri Dew nonsense as if it were sacred or doctrinal?

Sounds good to me although I think the second is contingent on the first in mortality because of the "neutral ground" principle.

The last time the full influence of covenant-keeping women was unleashed, the ERA was overthrown.

Since you guys have so many sexual hang-ups.....
I would posit that a woman is not covenant keeping woman unless she is a demon in the sack. I would also posit that a man is not a covenant keeping man unless he pleases his wife in every way.
