I would agree that would also be a hang-up. Luckily I don't believe such a thing.

Really? That's not what you said on the other thread. Cf. my new signature.

Nehor,

How hard is it to talk about this stuff? For crying out loud, if one partner is not satisfied don't you have a strong enough relationship to explain that to the other person?

Not sure why you replied to me in this way.

I'm talking about all the LDS men who have the fantasy that they are so great their wives would rather stay with them then move up to a more powerful guy, say like Joseph Smith, or that all sorts of incredible women want to be in their harem.

Just to be REALLY clear... I am thankfully not, nor have I ever been in a situation where I had to deal with a husband who was into multiple women, affairs, or some future harem. Far, far, REALLY FAR, from it.

And, to be even more clear, I am about the most satisfied woman there could ever be on the planet!

I never claimed to be suicidal. I think you also missed the humor in the post you have sigged. Of course your creepy interest in my sexuality is nothing new so all is well on the board.

No, I just don't get why a couple in a sexual relationship can't discuss how to make the relationship better. I'm pretty sure these kinds of skills can be learned/taught.

I really don't think LDS men think about polygamy as often as you seem to think they do. Maybe I'm atypical but I know I don't think about it much and I don't hear guys talking about it much. I also don't fantasize about harems of adoring women and then ignore that the people above me can grab them away. Plus, I plan to marry in the Temple so God made us each others first. If the Apostles want to mess around with the sealing ordinances to deprive me or her of each other then I fear for them come Judgment Day.

I don't personally want a harem. Who would want a woman who just spends all day in skimpy attire feeding me grapes and lounging around on cushions? Now, part of the day would be fine, but all day? Might get boring.

Sin = unauthorized happiness.

Wickedness cannot be true happiness. Amazing the manner in which fundamental truths that many people have understood for thousands of years needs to be spelled out in excruciating detail in this forum.

The last time the full influence of covenant-keeping women was unleashed, the ERA was overthrown. It wasn't the kingdom of God that changed.

Yes, authoritarian socialist identity politics and a naked attack on the family were overthrown, along with federally funded legal infanticide on demand.

Terrible.

Since you guys have so many sexual hang-ups.....

A sexual hang-up is when you think Satan makes you masturbate, and you'll be damned forever for wanking the willy.

It also includes having the notion that plural marriage in and of itself abusive to women. Or that homosexuality is not a perversion. Or that one must "use it or lose it". Etc.

Well, then the brethren better put some new lesson material into their priesthood manuals; maybe a talk or two in GC would be a good idea.

A nice idea:

Proverbs 5:18-19 (New International Version)

18 May your fountain be blessed,
and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.

19 A loving doe, a graceful deer—
may her breasts satisfy you always,
may you ever be captivated by her love.

Now wouldn't that be nice? Gee, without the Bible how would we ever have thought of that?

May you do this, may you do that, may you do the other thing ... The question, however, is how is that blissful state of affairs to be brought about? That might actually require young men to devote some serious study to the not easy (but ultimately highly satisfying) art of giving human females sexual delight.

Now (of course you have to be a wicked heathen to know this kind of thing) women do vary immensely in terms of what makes them happy in bed, both emotionally and physically. The other happy heathens out there may perhaps confirm this, and acknowledge that youthful enthusiasm, and even love, are not always sufficient to achieve the desired result (and sometimes not enough for one even for one to have an accurate idea of what the desired result might be).

But how you can expect that all young men will be able to do what is needed if they get just one sexual partner and are never taught explicitly about what they might try doing in bed just about beats me. Would anybody on the LDS side tell me that they have had any specific guidance from the HG about giving the lady in their life multiple orgasms?

Ah. "No true Scotsman would ....".

In order for the statement above to be more than a mere partial definition by exclusion of what the writer means by true happiness, it will be necessary for us to be given a definition of "true happiness" that does not have smuggled into it the notion that one cannot be happy though wicked.

All indications would be that she is pickier than you, so maybe the question should be are you good looking...?
