(I know, I know. The administrators over there sense the aura of the penumbra of a shadow of a hint of a premonition of my implicit yet unstated wish that a poster be banned, and, like Pavlov's trained dogs, they react instantly and with completely slavish obedience. I'm familiar with the myth.)

What about these thoughts:

1. They are protective of you due to your importance to the board
2. That some bans have originated from a desire to remove those whom they perceive to be an annoyance to you, fearing you might stay away from the board?

It's possible.

They've never told me so, and I'm not privy to their deliberations, but it's certainly conceivable. Solomarineris, being very close to the moderators there and deep in their counsels, undoubtedly knows much more about this than I do.

Anyhow, that's rather a different proposition than the recurrent claim that I demand the banning of posters from the board formerly known as FAIR, and that I've succeeded in "countless" instances at getting folks booted.

DCP has repeatedly felt the need to point out that a various posters posts make him not want to frequent a board; MADB in this case. If I were to write a mock DCP post, it almost certainly would involve a cheeky reference to "tiring of this board because of comments like this." He has done this knowing full well that the mods there desire his presence and have no problem shutting down those who disrupt that. And when DCP has made such complaints, quite often the posters who he fingered were censored, suspended, or banned. So, no, DCP hasn't explicitly asked for anyone to be banned. Why would he need to?
