Heh heh heh.

Sometimes, the subtlety of my cunning astonishes even me.

And I am smart. If I wasn't, I'd be a sheep like you.

Paris Hilton and Britney Spears are worth much, much more than you are.

I don't remember saying that I wanted to discuss anything with you.

I thought about setting up an ultra-TBM sockpuppet to illustrate the inanity of many official and unofficial LDS teachings. Then I saw lostindc, and realized I didn't have to.

It is its own kind of comedy. I, at times, when reading his posts, kind of miss Elders' Quorum meetings.

Gramps, I read a few posts from lostindc. The dude could get lost inside a paper bag, methinks! How'd I miss him? Thanks for pointing out my glaring omission!

As an aside, I'm so glad to see your posts here, Gramps. I hope you're well.

Hi, KA. He may have just been worn out by those two, and is recharging his battery. It won't help, as you obviously observed for yourself.

Thanks, and back at ya.

Obiwan, Zerinus, and LostinDC are the worst on my list. Pahoran's fourth, but at least he has a decent amount of knowledge in Mormon Studies (although, it seems he has hit the glass ceiling of his abilities as an apologist). Zerinus and Obiwan are stupid as all get out, and convinced that identifying someone as an apostate is sufficient to win a debate. DC is equally uninformed, it seems... but I have a bit more sympathy towards him, perhaps because I imagine him as an old dude on the brink of losing his mind.

Are these perhaps Chapel Mormons who closely follow the prophet? Perhaps Meldrum Chapel Mormons?
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

I'd say that Obiwan and Zerinus are definitely ultra conservative (chapel) Mormons. But this wouldn't be so bad, in my view, if they were more informed.

It's not a particularly subtle thing DCP. In fact, you'd have to be pretty dense not to notice the strong correlation between those you were - ahem - "tiring" of or were noticeably annoyed by and their facing mod action, with or without merit. MADB mods, Juliann in particular, operated by roughly the same modus operandi as the old Lighthouse ministry did towards ya'll LDS apologists, only a little worse. I think "der fuhrer" was your pet nickname for the chief mod there, right? And as I understand it, mod action there would result by similar means. One need not interpret my post as you willfully calling for people's heads with winks and nods. All one needs to know is that you never would have to explicitly call for anyone to be banned to make sure people faced mod action. All you would have to do is something you did routinely anyway. So to point out that you never called for anyone to be banned is a tepid defense.

It's the best possible defense -- direct contradiction -- against the claim that I've successfully called for the banning of "countless" people from the board formerly known as FAIR.

As a matter of fact, I've often been unaware when people were banned, and, in a substantial percentage of other cases, I've actually been unhappy when somebody was banned or a thread closed because I was planning on responding (and sometimes was in the very act of composing my response).

I'm not responsible for what the moderators at the board formerly known as FAIR do.

Incidentally, though, I do think it's a better board -- with a better balance between believers and critics, and with more substantive conversations -- than this one.

Paris and Britney are not only wealthy, but famous as well. In fact, sadly (or not), these two are more well known than all the Mormon prophets/apostles/scholars combined.
