Oh no, of course not, we have never seen anything like men blaming women for their sexual behaviors). :surprised:

However, the opposite (blaming men for women's sexual behavior) is done to reach the premise without question.

“Every sperm is wasted” is ignorance as I’m sure the Youtube intends to demonstrate. The number of sperm ejaculated on average per male is 500,000,000 (approximately).

At least one thing is demonstrated, biblical writers were ignorant of science as we, today, know science.

Wait.........what?

You're judging the Bible based on the lampooning of Monty Python? Or are you saying that if Lot and his daughters understood science they wouldn't have had sex?

Thank you for this valuable contribution to the discussion.

Nehor,

I am saying NOTHING of what you erroneously attempt to paraphrase.

Just read the words as they stand. Don't read your own bias into my comment.

Let's review what you said, shall we?

“Every sperm is wasted” is ignorance as I’m sure the Youtube intends to demonstrate. The number of sperm ejaculated on average per male is 500,000,000 (approximately).

At least one thing is demonstrated, biblical writers were ignorant of science as we, today, know science.

Okay, so first you recite a statistic on sperm and talk about wasted sperm saying that the YouTube video is satire (I assume that's what you mean by ignorance).

Then you leap from a YouTube video to ignorance of science by biblical writers (I hope you're not implying that Moses made the YouTube video). There are a few logical steps missing here. The Bible has no teaching about every sperm being sacred.

Tell ya what. Once you have sex with a woman I want you to reevaluate that statement.

Pythons Lampooning is ingrained in philosophy and social satire. So yes, I would say that a large portion of pythons works are excellent commentary on the situation.

They went to Oxford for "F"s sake.

That is presentistic skepticism. Are you forgetting how much damage could be inflicted by an angel with a fiery sword? Besides, inebriation was allowed before the harrowing experience of the floor being littered with tobacco spit, moonshine bottles and crackers at the Red Brick store.
