If you read it it says that it's a measure instituted due to conditions in this time period and gives an idea of what those are. A simple reading of the Bible will convince someone that this is not a universal law through all dispensations. This isn't rocket science.
In Section 89? Not seein' it there. But I recall the last sentence before the Word of Wisdom section mentions one must drink wine before wershin' the toe jam from the feet ritual. :confused:

The Lot family had a pretty good idea of emergency rations - at least enough wine to keep Dad turpsed for 2 days!

Isn't it wonderful - a man can drink enough to not recognise he is getting it on with his own daughters (thus absolving himself of any respnsibility), but is still able to get it up!
