Ensign publishes painting of Joseph Smith with wives..!?

In LDS publications Eliza R. Snow is referred to by that name. In many non-LDS publications she is referred to as Eliza R. Snow Smith.
Why aren't all of Josephs other wived known as Smith?
Why don't we have much written by Joseph to them? Most of his writings were to Emma. Why don't we have a full list of all those he married front and center?

This was one move where Joseph turned out to be dumber than an ignorant farm boy. He systematically hit 20 or 30 relief society members and and expected them NOT TO TALK ABOUT IT?

Now that's ignorant. The caption for the picture could be "put a double watch on the tongue, ladies" which is how Joseph told the relief society to stop comparing notes.

For example, I don't put Clinton in the wrong for his deed(s) in the oral room. His main error was to become busted. The president of the strongest country of the world (some pun intended) should not be impeached. If he was, he was unskillful (as man, as husband, as president).
