This is so last week, but dang, it's funny.

(Warning: Tons of swearing. You'll never watch Newsies the same way again.)

No. It's his favorite group, not his favorite song.

Fortunately, for me, I've never bowed to a tyrant.

That's not what the song is about.

Yes it is.

What do you think the song is about?
The first man to see an illusion by which men have flourished for centuries surely stands in a lonely place.

I just heard this song last week and I think its great. These guys keep putting out great albums, they have that classic rock vibe but are also very modern.

This song has been stuck in my head for two days. I wish I could get it outta there.

Magnet and Steel

I read that Walter Egan had a thing for Stevie Nicks and wrote it for her.

"(With you I'm not shy) to show the way I feel. (With you I might try) my secrets to reveal. For yo-OO-u are a magnet and I am steel."

I'm about to listen to Don't Worry, Be Happy just to have a different annoying song repeating in my brain.

Kim,

I've heard that song, but never quite knew what he was saying. I have a much greater appreciation for it now.

And I'm fairly certain just about every guy in the seventies had a crush on Stevie Nicks. Who would have thought breaking the word of wisdom could have such a positive effect on a voice?

Faster Kill Pussycat!

Wow. I've never seen Brittany Murphy like that before. :surprised:

The look seems to be in fashion. Here is the Scandanavian version of her....

Very true having grown up in that period. What do you think of her voice earlier in her career...

Fleetwood Mac - Dreams

....?

More haunting and ethereally beautiful imho.

I've been listening to this song again.

1997-Third Eye Blind
How's it going to be

Image

I'm only pretty sure that I can't take anymore
Before you take a swing
I wonder what are we fighting for
When I say out loud
I want to get out of this
I wonder is there anything
I'm going to miss
I wonder how it's going to be
When you don't know me
How's it going to be
When you're sure I'm not there
How's it going to be
When there's no one there to talk to
Between you and me
Cause I don't care
How's it going to be

Where we used to laugh
There's a shouting match
Sharp as a thumbnail scratch
A silence I can't ignore
Like the hammock by the
Doorway we spent time in swings empty
Don't see lightning like last fall
When it was always about to hit me

Want to get myself back in again
The soft dive of oblivion
I want to taste the salt of your skin
The soft dive of oblivion oblivion
How's it going to be
When you don't know me anymore
How's it going to be

and this one
Never Let You Go
"Happiness is the object and design of our existence...
That which is wrong under one circumstance, may be, and often is, right under another." Joseph Smith

How about the Dandy Warhols?

And Veronica Mars means I get to mention that Rob Thomas is also the name of the creator of "Veronica Mars". It only took them 3 seasons to get to this joke. (it's at 00:44, but the whole clip is funny.)
