I get a kick out of reading LDS family blogs, but sometimes they can be a bit...much. Apparently I'm not the only one who feels this way.

This made my day! I already love this woman. She even did a Blue Lily photography post.
I've been on so many LDS blogs that make me want to barf. (and feeling like a loser) Not that I'm immune from the spoof, but it's when these Moms are using their family blog as some kind of missionary tool to show how blessed they are from Mormonism that drives me nuts. Especially when they bring up their super duper special eternal marriage/forever family. "Do you want a forever family too? Find out about our religion here." (with the LDS button)

The blog "Seriously, So Blessed!" describes the super sweet adventures of newlywed TAMN (an acronym for Tiffany/Amber/Megan/Nicole.) She's living the dream in Utah with the perfect husband. She loves pedicures, scrapbooking and is a Bunco fanatic. TAMN's also preggers, as in pregnant, and is completely made up.

The woman who created her is now laughing all the way to the bank, seriously! The blog creator said, "I just made it as a little joke thinking I'd post once or twice and my friends could laugh about it."

1. My full name is Tiffany/Amber/Megan/Nicole but everyone calls me TAMN or TAMNers or TAMNikins or TAMNy-poo.
2. I am officially addicted to blogging!
3. Got me and my girl fetus the cutest matching modest bikinis at a great sell yesterday and cried from joy while I bought them.
4. Being preggers has made me way deep.
5. Pursuing my talents veea my hair degree rocked.
6. When I'm done w/ stuff, I love yelling "Wah-la!"
7. Doing whatever I want all day everyday as a SAHP is so hard but so worth it.
8. Sometimes at Bunc/ko people mix up me and my mom and we seriously don't get why, even though we have the exact same hair and clothes and cackle.
9. Ugly people make my insides frowny.

11. LOVE expressing my personality w/ funky one of a kind authentical vintage stuff like PB, Anthro and Bath and Body.
12. My most favorite thing is a tie between my fam and my bright-colored Kitchenaid.
13. My second most favorite thing is pictures of myself for my prosterity.
14. Bear Lake, Pal, Hawaii, Europe and cruises are my most favorite places to vaycay.

17. I'm a triathelete bc I signed up for one once and even though I didn't actually do it, I showed up that day and took pics (so I could blog them) and got the shirt so I can wear it to spin-yoga and bring it up in conversations :).

19. Plastic toys make my heart hurt.
20. My MiaMaids teach me way more than I teach them...seriously, without them I wouldn't even KNOW about that Edward Cullen action figure.

Before I even read her posts I was laughing out loud from all the buttons on her sidebar, the large fonts scattered in her sentences (that's required in Mormon Mommy blogs), and the music player that scares people without warning.

She has pretty much covered all the annoying parts of perky blogs from what I've read. I was cracking up at all the things I have done on my family blog that she spoofs.

One thing I noticed she left off her blog is that almost every Mormon Mommy blog has the button called "I Read NieNie" and "C Jane Run", which are the two most popular LDS blogs out there.

The NieNie Dialogues would make any mother turn to Zoloft. You could have cut her family straight out of a Martha Stewart magazine. She presents herself as the most well bred true believing Mormon I've seen on a blog. Her sister "C Jane Run" is also a very serious Mormon using her family blog to spread her testimony.


NieNie and her husband/"Mr. Nielson" are recovering from severe burns in a near fatal plane crash and the blogs have helped raise money for their family.

update: the latest NieNie blog post infers they will be making an appearance on Oprah.....

These were my favorites on her list. I was tagged with this one on Facebook by gobs of women. I've never played Bunko but many women from my LDS family and Stake get together for it. I hadn't even heard of etsy until reading Mormon Mommy Blogs. And I've heard the term "preggers" used by almost every pregnant Mormon Mommy blogger out there. The Edward Twilight and "Live, love, laugh.." buttons are killing me. I hope the book was better than the movie.
