Nonsense. Where is your proof of this? The earth is 6,000 years old, and dinosaurs lived right alongside humans. Haven't you ever watched the Flintstones?

Get an education!
This might be humorous except Ray it's coming from you who believes the theory of a known con artist looking into a hat and reading words lit up on small rock which is translating off of golden plates from a not known language, delivered by an angel, who then took them away ..is more plausible theory than a man using the unpublished manuscript of a known writer of a manuscript who had many witnesses of that manuscript.
Go figure. When you become rational Ray then such irrational comments might be funny.
Ray wrote:I know it sounds very weird, but, to me anyway, not as weird as the Spalding conspiracy theory. As Mormon Matters so well phrased it:

I was just testing JERK to see whether he has a sense of humour. You two are like Bim and Bam - humourless drones with biases as wide as the Atlantic Ocean. But, at least, you compliment one another. I'm all for the "support humourless losers" campaign.

Well why is JAK supposed to find what you said funny. when it wasn't the least bit funny? He's supposed to pretend? You are a guy that believes in angels, and disappearing gold plates, and minds outside of bodies and all sorts of weird stuff and then it's supposed to be funny that you pretend to be someone uneducated about dinsours and the age of the earth? Trust me Ray the stuff you believe sounds a hell of a lot more idiotic that you stuff you think sounds idiotic.

Trust your opinion? Your bigotry? Your utter stupidity and arrogance? Your bias? And your utter hatred of anything to do with God or religion? It's just such a pity you can't get over your justified sacking as a hopeless and biased moderator. Choosing you as a mod had to be Shades' worst decision ever made on this board.
And like I said, marg, you're nothing but a pretender, the expert on everything who has read nothing. In the common parlance, most people would describe you as an inane and pretentious jackass.

I have no problem with belief in a God. It's the other associated beliefs I have a problem with. Things like angels bringing gold plates to a con man, and the the resultant book being an obvious fictional story written in King James english which people believe to be associated with a God.
Frankly Ray someone who thinks man lived at the same time as dinosaurs or that the age of the earth is 6,000 years old is just ill informed regarding the science. But with you and your credulity it goes beyond just having the wrong information, which is why your attempt at humor fell flat. You have the information but you are extremely credulous and believe the most ridiculous things.

I'd rather be ignorant than to be knowledgeable but a moron. As we all know reading the Book of Mormon is high up there on things intelligent people should do. Good for you that you are an expert on the Book of Mormon, good for you that you no longer think it historical. You must be proud of yourself.

BS.

Why the hell should I care about that? It's your ignorance of what you try to talk about that's the real problem.

Just as I thought. Your have no sense of humour. You're a boring drone and a total ignoramus.
