It's kind of ironic we eat his flesh instead of the other way around.

The thing is, Godel's ontological argument is valid, but not sound -- it's not clear why existence should be a positive attribute.

As if you were in any position to judge.

Well, judging from this thread, I'm in a much better position than you are. Of course, I didn't need this thread to make that judgment.

This kind of thing just cracks me up about religious people. "You're brand of fantasy and nonsense is pure crap, and deserves to be mocked. My brand of fantasy and nonsense is far superior."

Keep talking, Clueless Crusader. Real clowns aren't as entertaining as ones like you who don't even realize they're clowns.

I am English. What are you? Spanish?

(English correction coming from the guy who thinks "dim" and "bulb" form one word).

I wouldn't say Harris is into new age woo so much as he is overly friendly to it's potential reasonableness in comparison to how he treats other religious beliefs. He blurs the line there, but if you read carefully he's usually not saying he thinks what he's defending so much as he thinks it could be reasonably defended and pursued. But yeah, definitely not one of our great thinkers. As Lindsay Beyernstein once got at, he's annoying annoyingly famous, probably in significant part because he represents much of society's bigoted preconceptions about atheists: that they're dogmatic, intolerant, secretly religious, and amoral.

Lindsay Beyernstein.

Nice reference. Could you dig any deeper?

That is a shining example of you being intellectually unequal to a subject about which you nonetheless opine.

What part of England are you from, blockhead? (Incidentally, dimbulb is correct when used as a means of address, as is blockhead.)

I am already convinced of your poverty of intellect; there is no need to keep beating that piñata.
