I just loaded up four of these guys songs on itunes, and I think they're great. I had forgotten how good some of these are. Their videos are sort of hard to find, and I wish they had made a fancier one for "Take me as I am". The featured one here is an acoustic version, love this song though, it might be my favorite of theirs. The full version from the album is really powerful.
Some of you might remember the "open your eyes" video with them rollerskating, very funny. I chose a late show version of "If you could only see" since I liked it better than the official video. The last one is the bands version of their "You wanted more" as opposed to the American Pie version.

I grew up listening to The Carpenters. Karen had such a lovely voice.

I grew up listening to Bob Seger, Janice Joplin, Carpenters, John Denver........
As a little girl this song always made me think of walking through a field of daisies near the mountains. (I wonder if it was something from the album cover?)
It's a great song to use for childhood slideshows.

Annie's Song

This song by Olivia reminds me of riding my tricycle or rollerskates in the front driveway while my Dad was working in the garage.

That woman in the picture--is that Katy Perry or Zooey Deschanel?
