Re: Fabulous News!
Having polished off the Protestant and atheist critics of Mormonism but failed to slake his monstrous appetite for blood, Dr. Louis Midgley is apparently on the prowl for more challenging opponents. In his editor's introduction, a magnificent tour de force titled "Debating Angelicals", Dr. Midgley directs his considerable rhetorical arsenal against the Messengers of the Lord.

Re: Fabulous News!
The title is actually "Debating Evangelicals." The word Angelicals is an amusing typo created by whoever it was that put the thing up on line. I've alerted the Powers that Be to correct the error.

I found that incredibly amusing, as well, CK.
I never imagined I'd find both Dr. Midgley debating angels and reviews of dust jackets in the same volume. This must be my lucky day!

Why is it, when ever I look at an issue of Farms review, the first thing I see is a smirking, smarmy backhanded Ad hominem? What is it with you guys? If you ever want to be taken seriously academically, you have to knock it off.

Could you be a little more specific? Thanks.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

On Becoming A Disciple Scholar
by: Cecil O. Samuelson
I know so little about academics, that I thought this would be an article on Christology or some aspect of the New Testament. Of course I would probably think a Rhodes Scholar was adept at studying highway construction as well. So was this endowed by someone named Disciple?

I have absolutely no idea why that's what you see. It's very, very strange, and I can think of no explanation for it.
Of course, I'm not a specialist.
