I selected that it will continue beyond the veil, but Life had better do some homework, because Gad is going to wipe the floor with him. At least Scratch and Daniel are somewhat evenly matched.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

I am. Or, anyway, I'm working through a twelve-step book. I want to see how the process works (mostly because of my calling as a bishop) and, in any event, I think that all of us are addicts to one thing or another. I freely admit that my interactions here typically waste my time and benefit me not at all, and that, rationally speaking, I ought to withdraw from them. That I'm still here nonetheless demonstrates that this is a kind of addiction.
Trouble is, I genuinely do find Mister Scratch (and, to a lesser but lately-increasing degree, Gadianton) psychologically fascinating, in a strange sort of way. I really do find the intensity and protracted character of Scratch's personal hostility stunning, and oddly intriguing. I observe it in almost hypnotized disbelief. (I'm being entirely candid here. This is really how I feel.)

I consider Mister Scratch to be a wise Person.

I consider him a malevolently obsessive loon.
It appears that we disagree.

Well, I consider you to be a fat piece of crap. What's the point of your incessant character assassinations?

I have no idea.
Ask Scratch. He's the one who does them.

As thread originator, I would prefer that such attacks stop. Otherwise, I'll just ask mods to close the thread. (I don't even know if they do such things.)

You don't consider calling someone a "malevolently obsessive loon" a kind of character assassination? I've seen you call him such things on several occasions. One might even say "incessantly." Perhaps you just consider it "name calling" which is nothing like character assassination?
Just curious what your rationale is on this one.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
