Yeah, I know. You can pay a five-dollar whore fifty bucks, but in reality she's still a five-dollar whore (New Jersey Girl knows what I'm talking about). You can take the Mormon out of the cult, but sometimes you can't take the cult out of the Mormon. You can gild a turd, wrap it in fur, and describe it with six syllable words, but at the end of the day you just have some really dressed up crap on your hands. And that's apologia. That's Mr. Peterson. That's CC. That's Dart. They've managed to describe crap as a historically significant event, but in reality it's still crap.
You can’t trust adults to tell you the truth.

Mormons and JWs may not get along, but ex-mos and ex-JWs usually have a lot of common ground. My ex-mo brother married an ex-JW, and talk about walking a tightrope! At the wedding the groom's family couldn't drink champagne, and the bride's family couldn't make a toast. Both sets of parents are busy preparing for the end of the world. Her parents sold their house to buy a 'life-style' block and get self-sufficient.
My family has been infested as well, my grandmother and several aunts and uncles are JW. The Mormons and JWs have declared a truce and avoid religion talk at all costs, but my mum is quite smug. She knows she will them after they are dead.

TAGATHON (good deity)
Yup. I can't make this up. Here's a breakdown of TAGATHON:
Tagathon is a transcendent being who resides in the Empyrean, the uppermost of the Ten Heavens, where he concerns himself with all supercelestial affairs. He is all wise, benevolent, holy, righteous, and the creator of everything good.
Humans, dwarves, and elves are the pinnacle of his creation, having been created as moral agents. His chief enemy is the coeternal god of evil, whom he imprisoned long ago.
------------
It turns out CC isn't a JW Mormon-of-Record Christian...
He's a nerd.
You heard it here first, folks. The foul-mouthed tough guy CC is a f**king nerd.
Holy. s***.
You have already demonstrated your inability to distinguish fact from fiction; there is no need to be gratuitous.

Your fixation with me is creepy. The JSM in SF occurred several years ago, before I had a blog, so you had to do some digging.

On Gays:My solution to the gay "marriage" dispute [is to] buy bellyaching gays a one way bus ticket to Canada. I'm sure I could get plenty of contributions for that.Homosexuals will pump a bunch of money into the economy as they get "married," only to see their "marriages" invalidated with the passage of the amendment in November. That's a win-win in my book.
I stand by those statements.
On Abortion:I propose allowing unrestricted access to abortion through the end of the 8th week of pregnancy... I could probably agree to 9 weeks...
That's something about which I vacillate. I have no love for abortion, though.
I also support the decision to make Plan B available over the counter.
Yes.
If I ever have children I do not plan on doing the Santa thing.
Yes.
On Christianity:I was no longer a believer in basic Christian dogma... I don’t feel right calling myself a Christian, since I do not currently credit the Atonement, which I see as the central point of Christian belief. And yet, I am not ashamed to be known as a follower of many of the principles that Jesus taught.... amen.
That looks like something I might have written once but it no longer applies. Why the ellipses and why no citation, you pos?

Some Schmo wrote:It could be any god or any religion and the result would be the same, antishock. CC's a joke because he tries to take the intellectual high ground despite believing in irrational, supernatural crap. Any way you cut it, the guy's a pathetic farce.
*shrug*
Bitch please. I have accomplished more in my days than you will ever accomplish. You are a perfect example of that study a few years back that concluded that the more mediocre a person is, the more likely he is to be supremely confident in his (lack of) abilities.

If you and Some Schmo are going to share a brain, then at least get one that works.

No, you are lying, and displaying an unhealthy fixation with me. I can't blame you if you have a jones for me but even if you weren't acting like Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction, I'm afraid it wouldn't work out between us.

Jws don't believe in hell so their view of the afterlife, as far as atheists are concerned, is exactly the position atheists hold. Simply put, they cease to exist.
OMG, antishock is a JW!!

ROTFLMAO
Wow... there's no end to how stupid you can be, is there?
You have no idea who I am or what I've done, and yet you're willing to make this claim? I didn't think I could imagine the depth of your stupidity before... and you just raised the bar with this? I must really piss you off... lol
But then again, you believe in all kinds of fantasy religious crap without evidence or knowledge, so I suppose this shouldn't surprise me either.
Gave me a great laugh though. I think stupid people are funny. You particularly crack me up. Good stuff.
What's even funnier about this is that the study you mentioned is talking exactly about people like you. You're the one with all the claims about yourself, not me. In one breath, you talk about your numerous accomplishments, and then you mention the study about people being supremely confident in themselves. I guess you're confessing your own mediocrity, huh?
LMAO
Comedy gold. Again... you can't make this stuff up.
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
