Sigh...
Once again I never attack anyone unless attacked, and in most cases I give them a head's up to knock it off. I gave Mr. Peterson repeated warnings to knock of the insults and ad homs with me before I attacked him. Sure, I'm over-the-top, but that's simply to irritate someone in order to spread the empathy around... If you're going to live in a glass house, brother...

Man, he never answers questions before he leaves either.
Oh well, unless under church instructions, he is too addicted to seeing his name in print on these boards to stay away for too long. It's not like he's got a lot to do with his life.
And why no mention of Joey on the "Triumph" thread in the rolling credits? I don't post alot but seemed to be rudely acknowledged by Peterson in many of his posts.
I feel a bit slighted and embarrassed now!

Haa Haa Scotty lap dog shows up to yelp and runs away..
Hey Scott:
Your esteemed professor of apologetics could not answer this question or other wise prove his point. He claims the Church has been acting in good faith since its signed an agreement with Jewish groups to stop proxy ordinations..
From a Jewish report on the Church's failure to keep the agreement signed in 1995:
Quote: Since the agreement, the (LDS) Church has gone through a series of processes to ensure that all online ordinance details are completely off-limits to non-Mormons. Now only a person with a special user log-in (an accredited Mormon) can access ordinance data in the online IGI to determine which LDS rituals have been done for a dead person. This precaution appears to be a security “shield” that protects the privacy of the LDS Church. The Church made an agreement with Jews and then attempted to eliminate all non-LDS monitoring of ongoing ordinance activity.
How, is this acting in good faith?
God has the right to create and to destroy, to make like and to kill. He can delegate this authority if he wishes to. I know that can be scary. Deal with it. Nehor.. Nov 08, 2010

Well Scratch, you'd better HOPE he comes back. Otherwise, you are out of a job--or at least your "Mr. Scratch" persona is--whoever you are...

He rarely answers questions that are substantive. He obfuscates, and self-admittedly comes here to "have fun" and to push people's buttons. I don't know why YOU, Jason and Harmony, feel the need to protect this jerk.
He makes claims that he doesn't back up. He plays word games. He sidesteps answering questions. Etc etc... If you think that's a "quality" poster, then more power to you. I think he's an ass. He's as deep as CC when it comes to defending Mormonism, and as wordy as Dart when it comes to insulting others.
So. See ya, Mr. P. Your schtick is tired, and you're a boorish bully. You helped to destroyed someone's career, constantly berate other scholars' works, and are a liar and protector of a fraud. Not a quality guy, if you ask me.
You're a contemptible boor, anti-shock. And a cowardly one at that, since you post anonymously.
Does anyone else wonder why "Scotty Dog" chose this---of all threads---to comment upon? Personally, I find this fascinating, and very revealing. I would imagine that poor Scotty Dog feels devastated over DCP's utter defeat. Scott must really feel crushed.
Well, in either case, I hope that he recovers. He needs to be able to muster up his usual dose of holier-than-thou TBM nastiness in order to maintain the general tone of the MADboard. (Should I predict a new sig line for you, Brother Lloyd?) I am very glad to see Scott posting here, but I hope he's able to one day drop his disgusting facade of self-righteous condescension. It reflects very poorly on the Church.
I hope the point is not overlooked that Dr. Peterson has drawn readers to this site and has made many valuable contributions. When even one voice is silenced (provided they were not breaking all the rules) are we not all diminished?
