Are the Apologists 'Set Apart' by the Brethren?

Re: Mopologetics & Priesthood Authority
I'm wondering what term the brethren use when setting apart apologists like DCP, Midgley, and Hamblin? Do they set them apart as "apologists" or "defenders of the faith" or something else? I surmise that they use the term "defenders of the faith". It has a nice, positive ring to it. Are they given specific keys?

Incredible, in 24 hours an idle speculation becomes fact and now we're speculating on details. Should we also discuss whether invisible pink unicorns have spots?

Feel free to cough up some real proof.
I already adduced LDS culture and ritual as evidence.

That's an interesting hypothesis, silentkid, and surely you are on to something since The Nehor is going ballistic, nearly erupting with outrage at the prospect of the Mopologists being anointed by the Brethren.
That said, I am still wondering if it is a full-blown "setting apart," or if it is limited to a more basic blessing w/ laying on of hands.

I notice the option of it not existing at all has vanished.
I think you're confused Scratch. Remember, when I blow up I threaten to kill you...though sometimes I do that just for fun....hmmmm in any case if I'm not threatening to kill you you can be assured that I'm not erupting with outrage. It's Friday, very hard to provoke outrage on a Friday.

I'm wondering the same thing, Mr. Scratch. If there is a setting apart rather than just a blessing of guidance (I'm imagining something like a father's blessing), it would seem that Dr. Peterson has two callings, as a Bishop and as a Defender of the Faith. It's not unheard of in the church for one person to have two callings; it's just not all that common, especially for someone with an intense leadership calling. But if anyone could do it, Dr. Peterson could.

'tis true SilentKid. Leonard Arrington was Church Historian, and that is a church calling. Turley too. I found specific mention of Arrington being set apart.
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.
LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.
