Depression and the boards

Post by _Runtu »

For some reason, involving myself on LDS-oriented boards has brought back some of the depression I've dealth with. Don't know why, but I think I'm going to take a break from the boards, see my doctor about adjusting the meds, and hopefully start feeling better.

I hate feeling crappy.

Good luck with the meds. Depression sucks.

John, best wishes for steadying your mood. Hopefully a med adjustment can do the trick!

My heart tells me to stay away from four things: criticism, gossip, religion and politics. When I start down those roads I get frustrated, angry and depressed. And try geodon - low dosage at night - it's pretty much saved my life and I get better each day - it works slow but it works. 20 mg at night. I take 20mg paxil, 20 mg geodon, 100 mg of wellbutrin and 30mg of temazepam at night. It's something I've needed for like thirty years - but finally got the meds right on target for borderline personality disorder. Everyone thought I had major depression, which is likely too. But a psychiatrist in the past few years said that this is likely the issue. I recently bought some books on BPD and started crying when I read the heads of the chapters as it fit me like a glove. Ever since late teens and the age of early adulthood it was right on. Here is a link - see if it fits.

I'm feeling a little better today. Just a bad day yesterday, for some reason. I'm still going to go in and see about adjusting the meds.
