Have you thought about mentioning the excommunication and nothing else? If you really want to do as the Mopologists do, then that's what you ought to do. No need to mention affairs or anything like that. The ex'ing is all TBMs would need to know about it order to dissuade them from sending their kids. The apologists knew this quite well, and used it to their full advantage against Quinn. In fact, they went even further, insinuating on FAIR/MAD and elsewhere that the ex'ing came as a result of some kind of homosexual sin. Just ask DCP: he'll tell you all about it. After all, he was more than glad to tell anyone who would listen on the FAIR/MADboard.
This is one of those rare instances where I fully agree with Scratch. Hell hath surely frozen over.
Failure is not falling down but refusing to get up.

First, Prof. Peterson tells a blatant, slanderous, disgusting lie about GoodK, then he goes on to claim that he's justified in peddling his information since he feels so "picked on." Then, it turns out that he thinks his brazen falsehood was justifiable, since, in reality, he was just using it to manipulate Chap into reacting a certain way! Gee, this sure does make me feel very sympathetic towards poor Professor Peterson.
Since you recently confessed to lying to manipulate people I'm not sure how you think you have some moral high ground from which to give your lofty judgments and pronouncements.
Hi there, The Nehor. Please feel free to link to the post where I said, "Yes, I lie to manipulate people." Of course, you won't be able to do that, since such a post doesn't exist. You indicated that you understood that at the time, which means that you are now behaving very dishonestly by trying to....ah, well, manipulate words in an effort to score a point. Why do you suppose it is that you're so desperate to do that, The Nehor? Desperation, it seems, is a common thing with you.

I stated that this was the only logical conclusion from the events in question. I then challenged you to provide an alternative explanation for what you said. You sadly went silent and then later made up an absurd story which I took as an admission of guilt. Should you wish to retract this admission and offer a plausible alternative I'd be glad to hear it.
"Surely he knows that DCP, The Nehor, Lamanite, and other key apologists..." -Scratch clarifying my status in apologetics "I admit it; I'm a petty, petty man." -Some Schmo

Golly. Scratch isn't going to be sympathetic to me any more?
ROTFL.
Oh, believe me: "ROTFL" is right. You're on a real roll, Prof. P. At this rate, sympathy for you will be tanking left and right. It seems to me that your best choice in this instance is a sincere public apology.

How did I know this was coming?

Your account of Roy's status seems convoluted to me. Either you aren't expressing yourself well or I'm just not following you.
Here is what I know: He is excommunicated now. He was a bishop at the time he was excommunicated. He is now married to the woman he had the affair with. The woman was in his ward and married to another man. He now works at one of the affiliate youth programs that the Mormon Gulag owns.
You need to get on the INSIDE, Eric. Get substantial (dated) information and evidence from the INSIDE.
I don't think I'll get any more inside than I already am, unfortunately. Fortunately, I have several informants on the inside and have procured some rather priceless evidence and information from them.
Hey, no problem, right? What's one more kid thrown under the bus if the cause is just?
If I have to show restraint in my expose for every staff member that has a child, there will be no cause. The worst of the worst people at the Mormon Gulag are married with children. I can't do anything to change that.

Is that the best you've got, The Nehor? I thought you had located some damning verbatim quote, or something like that. But (as is perhaps to be expected) all you've got is bloviation. It's seems you are growing increasingly familiar with Mopologetic tactics.

I hadn't thought of just floating the fact that he was excommunicated and leaving it at that, but you are right. As we can see from the examples of the pros, when poisoning the TBM well - so to speak - less is more.
I would be curios to hear Jersey Girl's opinion about that.

You can use all the illusions & shadows explaining Quinn..... The Man simply disappeared from the radar, do not blame DCP for his demise! Sh*t... Any moron with his intellectual caliber could withstand such onslaught of misinformation. Did he make any effort? You just cannot tattoo DCP for his demise. I have precious works 0f Quinn in my library. If he is inept to defend his works, why would you blame tearing holes by DCP, APOLOGETICS?
