Ha Ha - the only reason you used the word referral is because I used it in my post. You don't know what you are talking about. There is no way a hotline social worker is going to transfer you to the police without finishing taking information so they can send a social worker out immediately or on a five day referral. that's all. No weeks, months or anything like that. Also DPSS does welfare.

I still assert you know nothing about the process. I've both made the calls to DPSS, to the police, reporting abuse as well as helping families for which such calls have been made. I defend private schools against where charges have been made against them. I also work the angle for elderly people who have been abused, (Adult Protective Services), so I've been through it many times. I've worked with a state-wide task force consisting of members of the FBI and the CHP in child abuse investigations. You've done none of that. You're a poser. You get information off the internet or out of books; you don't work with the agencies.

In all honesty, I've thought this through quite a bit. But before I get into it, just one minor correction:

When DCP made libelous comments about me it was on page one of this very thread and had little to nothing to do with Mister Scratch.

He said some horribly nasty lies and tried to recover by calling it an "experiment."

Now, Dr. Shades, I consider you a friend and I genuinely look forward to our next rendezvous (whenever that may be).

But I'd like to take a trip a little farther down memory lane, and give you a little more insight into what I am dealing with.

DCP ousted me (at least he thought he did) to my step-father. This was malicious.

His comrade and lawyer SpongeBob Crockett accused me of mocking my seriously ill sister while she was in the hospital, and while I had to contemplate what life would be like without her. That was beyond malicious.

DCP enlisted my step-dad to come to his defense on this very message board, posting disparaging remarks about my character. That was malicious.

DCP then claimed to have been sitting on information about me, and proceeded to say some of the worst things I have ever heard. That was malicious and technically libel.

I have to ask myself, what can I do? What recourse does he leave me. I was content to leave things in the realm of "free speech" until they became disgusting and libelous.

I'm not Mister Scratch. I'm not cool or even tempered. I'm not interested in being the bigger man. I'm not. I have no interest in allowing this to continue. It's been over a year now. And this last attack crossed the line. Enough is enough.

What would you do?

I don't know anything about Adult Protective Services. And you defending private schools. It sounds like something you would be involved in - Did the teacher punch the student? The only way CPS would be involved would be to interview the teachers children to make sure they were not being hit like the student. Also to speak with the student and the students parents about failing to protect against crazy teachers.

No. Sex abuse cases. I also represent other institutions is childhood sex abuse cases; in every case DPSS and the cops have been involved. I see how it works.
