Yes but don't forget that the "only true Church" is on earth.

And God lived in Galilee.

This is off-topic, Tiktaalik, but I noticed that you're located on Ellesmere Island. I felt fairly certain Ellesmere Island was to the North of Greenland so I looked it up and I was mostly correct.

What, pray tell, are you doing there on the ice? I can't imagine a booming population settling such a landscape.

Curious,

KA

I'm mostly just hangin' out, buried in rocks, posting on this board from an iphone that some Canadian military guy in a helicopter dropped when he was flying over. If someone cares to come along and dig me up, I'd be happy to change locations to some museum... I think it'd be much warmer that way.

I understand!

I'm in Oklahoma, hanging out on the prairie in a tee-pee posting via smoke signal. ;)

KA

Edited to Add: I get it now!

I re-read your reply and it occurred to me that tiktaalik might just be the name of the little extinct critter there on your avatar so I Googled and viola!

I thought we had one of a handful of folks up there on Ellesmere Island posting on this board and that seemed very exotic. But, that's okay. Your intrigue has not been diminished, at any rate. Perhaps it has even increased...

Hey, KA, just a heads up that I posted a comment on your latest blog entry. That was bona fide hilarious!

Of course, we all "misread" your "true" motives. And note the expression "bona fide hilarious". Do you think we were born yesterday? Your "true motive" was "just" to comment on KA's blog, "approved" by your wife, of course (camel goes down throat like water), who thinks nothing of calling KA a "Hottie", with, of course, the approval of Mrs. Schryver.

Thanks Tiktaalik,

God seems so insignificant now.

Bummer.

That's an impressive graphic.

Do you know where one might be able to see the images large enough to read the text in them?

krose, I took www.irc-links.org/353424 found in the corner of the picture and it changed to:

http://naurunappula.com/kuvat/353424/Ka ... ellisuutta

and it has a better picture, though I haven't worked with it yet I can still read it better than the picture posted.
I think it would be morally right to lie about your religion to edit the article favorably.

Thanks, Pok. Any idea what language that page is in? ---- (Edit: After further evaluation, I think it's Finnish.)----

By the way, has anyone here ever taken the time to figure out how big Kolob would need to be to take 1000 earth years to rotate on its axis? I should have asked my TBM physics/astronomy professor at Southern Utah State (now SUU).

Speaking of professors, I remember how surprised I was back in school when my chemistry prof started his lecture on the peculiar properties of water (how it expands and floats when frozen instead of contracting) by saying, "Heavenly Father really knew what he was doing when he designed water."
