Will:
No it didn’t, you deceitful shrew, it talked about your “ugly soul” that would “come through” and render you unattractive. You’re a liar and a propagandist.
And, for the record, I find it difficult to believe that "men" have ever found you attractive, at least not without the aid of excess testosterone, several shots of tequila and extremely dim lighting. You are simply too ugly in soul for it to not show through. It gives me the willies just thinking about what you must really look like ...
So now we can get some idea of why Will is outraged over being accused of inappropriate behavior. In his eyes, he has made no comments toward women that could be considered "cyber-ogling", and he's made no callous, crass comments, either.
Will, somehow, is able to type the words "I find it difficult to believe that "men" have ever found you attractive, at least not without the aid of excess testosterone, several shots of tequila and extremely dim lighting." and somehow convince himself that he wasn't talking about my physical characteristics.
He's able to convince himself that this comment:
Edit: I might note that, if KA did not desire her breasts to be "ogled" on the evening in question, she might have selected from her wardrobe an item of clothing that more effectively covered the body parts in question. The black dress she chose could not have covered more than 40% of the breastage she brought to the occasion. Her attire would have been more appropriate for an AVN expo in Las Vegas.
wasn't crass and callous.
Nothing more really needs to be said.
My opinion is that Will enjoys indulging in aspects of his own personality that he has to keep "under wraps" in real life. He views the participants of this board with utter disdain, who deserve the worst treatment in general, so he lets it "all hang out". He reminds me of prep-school teenage boys who present one face to their private-school peer group, and then go to the "wrong side of the tracks" to indulge in behavior they restrict to that setting. See, the girls on the wrong side of tracks don't deserve respect, so he feels free to indulge however he desires. What Will and the prep-school boys don't realize is that their behavior reveals truths about themselves, and not the people to whom they expose the seedier sides of themselves to.
I don't know Will in real life, and don't care to. I don't care what he believes or imagines about himself. But the sight of him preaching to Ray about loving and respecting an eternal companion just painted too big of a bull's-eye on him for me to resist. The level of non-self-awareness that took to have the nerve to type that in the first place is kind of breath-taking, but totally consistent with the man who believes saying "I find it difficult to believe that "men" have ever found you attractive, at least not without the aid of excess testosterone, several shots of tequila and extremely dim lighting. You are simply too ugly in soul for it to not show through. It gives me the willies just thinking about what you must really look like ..." was not an attack on my physical characteristics and attractiveness.
