Glen Beck Blubbering

Post by _Kishkumen »

As a conservative Republican and ex-Mormon, it makes me more than a little uncomfortable when I see a Mormon giving Conservatism a bad name. Not long ago we were treated to that slimy fish named Mitt, whose most redeeming quality was that he was not a Democrat (most days, so they claim).

Now we have to endure the emetic performances of one Glenda Beck, whose tears pour forth profusely at the drop of a hat. Can anyone say testimony meeting? I mean really. This disgrace of a pseudo-conservative with an IQ somewhere below 90 is bearing his testimony of the fall of the Republic as though it were Fast Sunday every time we turn on the tube!

Not only that, but he has managed to dig up the literary (sorry to use the word, really) corpse of W. Cleon Skousen, a psycho-conservative who was one step from identity politics. (He believed that the Norse were descendants of Israel. Wonder why he chose them? Hmmm....) And Beck has made this fossil of wacko-fringe politics a best seller!

If Sarah Palin's demon warfare wasn't bad enough. Sigh. When are they going to figure out that Beck's brain has been hijacked by militia-minded Mormons waiting for the End Times? When will my beloved Party dropkick these religious nuts?

You know, if republicans actually decided to be fiscally conservative and weren't co-opted by the religious right, I could probably sign on.

However, I think I'm destined to be an independent till the day I die.

Oh yeah, and Beck's an insincere moron and embarrassment to humanity. That's about the nicest thing I can say about him.

Somebody call Bo Gritz fast. There is a new Goebels for his next attempt at the presidency.

Glen beck is human waste.

Well, 'W' certainly was a big disappointment there. It seems that we are left to choose between riotous spending and not-so huge spending these days. I sympathize, Schmo. We could use more people like you in the GOP, and you are not to be faulted because we are failing to attract your allegiance.

I hate to align myself with a person or personality to define my politics but I find Ron Paul making more sense to me as time goes on.
I think it would be morally right to lie about your religion to edit the article favorably.

I found Ron paul to be too close to the tinfoil hat crowd.

I really don't feel he's my guy, like said it's hard for me to pin my hat on a person. I guess I am a social liberal and fiscal conservative. I am not sure those ends can ever meet.

Me too.. I miss Barry Goldwater !
God has the right to create and to destroy, to make like and to kill. He can delegate this authority if he wishes to. I know that can be scary. Deal with it.

Of course they can. That's the Libertarian party you just identified.
