Attention everybody: I am hereby unbanned from MA&D.

Something happened in real life that allowed me to plead my case to a mod, they said they would check with DCP to see if it was OK, and a few days later I was miraculously reinstated. I don't know how much of the "situation" would be considered confidential, so I won't say anymore.

One interesting thing that happened upon my return was receiving a PM from a sympathetic mod who advised me that negative comments regarding FAIR, FARMS, and certain specific board participants were especially rankling to the powers-that-be.

Well, how interesting. I guess this explodes yet another myth: namely that DCP does exert a very powerful and direct influence over who gets to post. It seems that he has been lying to us all this time.

That part sounded tongue-in-cheek to me, Scratch, but I could be wrong.

Whatever helps you deal with the crushing loneliness of the closet, buddy.

We are not buddies. I have standards, remember?

Then I guess you'll just have to stick with your usual fare: digital "girl"friends and stray cats.

Uh-huh. Give my regards to the tube sock you are currently dating.

But that begs the question of whether DCP can provide absolution or not.

How nice! Still, you are on the books as a trouble-maker, so don't let your lawyer stray too far. All it takes is an ambiguously placed comma or an ironic question mark to trigger a moderator's watchful paranoia and ban you all over again. Keeping your account activated will take a full-time guardian. It may not be worth it to delay the inevitable.

Or would even want to. I get the distinct impression that some people give his thoughts on the matter far more thought than he does.

You also don't have any friends, but that didn't stop me from calling you "buddy," either. Guess why.

Those are awfully strong words coming from the 30-year-old virgin.

I do not have a comment about the woman in the picture either way.
