Deseret Book pulls the "Twilight" series from its shelves
Way to turn against one of your own, Deseret Book! Read all about it:

More entertaining than the story itself, I'd say, are the comments. Check 'em out!

Deseret made the Twilight books "special order only" because they're s****y? Good for them.

Before I knew the author was Mormon I wondered what the heck the book was doing in the store.
I'd have to agree that it has no bussiness being in the store.

I think GA's can't compete with these books and it cuts into their personal bank account.
look at this: http://deseretbook.com/store/product/5014276
put a vampire on it and you will double it's sales.

To be honest, I'm surprised it took this long for any type of Church body to say anything about the book.
It's a very chaste vampire series, but the fact that it deals with vampires is basically a "no no" from the Church's standing.
I LOVE vampires...have been fascinated by them since I read Bram Stoker's Dracula.
If you want to read a sexy vampire series, read Anne Rice. She's awesome! Lestat makes Edward look like a wuss!

Edward's seductive stare is unstoppable. Just check out the banner ad under Shades' OP.

I found this one hilarious:
"One of the angels whom God created, Lucifer (Satan), used the power of free choice against God when he said, "I will be like the Most High": (Isaiah 14:12-14)
But the seraphim are the angels that have three pairs of wings and were created specifically to praise God at all times, and they cover their faces with one pair of the wings and their feet with another pair.
Satan was definitely high up there but he wasn't a seraphim.
How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.
