Well Peter did:

Acts 4:13-21

13 ¶ Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.
15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,
16 Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.
17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.

I understand, Jason, and agree with you.

Yet the 12th article of faith remains.

The mission president contacted local Utah church leaders, and it was decided the missionary's uncle would drive out to Oklahoma to bring the missionary home, which he did.

So in order to get around the issue, and to further distance the Cult from culpability, it was placed on a member to do the dirty work.

Mouthorgan for the Lord, Scott Trotter:

the blessings of the Church are available to anyone who qualifies for and accepts the Gospel of Jesus Christs" and went on to say "Federal law allows undocumented persons to provide volunteer church service, including missionary service, within the United States.

Trotter fails to mention is that the Cult of Mormonism is responsible for the law that insulates religious organizations from prosecution for - among other things - knowingly permitting undocumented illegals to be ministers or calling them as missionaries.

In 2005, Mormon Cult puppet Senator Bob Bennett inserted a "narrow exception" to federal immigration law by adding a provision to a 2005 agricultural bill that in effect absolves religious organizations of criminal liability for allowing illegals to perform volunteer service, including missionary work.

See Title 8 section 1324 of US Code:

(C) It is not a violation of clauses [1] (ii) or (iii) of subparagraph (A), or of clause (iv) of subparagraph (A) except where a person encourages or induces an alien to come to or enter the United States, for a religious denomination having a bona fide nonprofit, religious organization in the United States, or the agents or officers of such denomination or organization, to encourage, invite, call, allow, or enable an alien who is present in the United States to perform the vocation of a minister or missionary for the denomination or organization in the United States as a volunteer who is not compensated as an employee, notwithstanding the provision of room, board, travel, medical assistance, and other basic living expenses, provided the minister or missionary has been a member of the denomination for at least one year.

The Mormon cult is speaking out of both sides of its face.

Shades of Joseph!
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

What a scum Bennett was to sneak this welfare system in rather than fix the overall problem.

This changes my argument a little, doesn't it.

Hello,

I am a Proud Republican. (Well, sort of Proud.) I really liked former Republican Congressman Chris Cannon from Utah, and I was kind of sad to seeing him being replaced. Chris Cannon had a strong Pro-Life voting record in Congress. However, I don't really like Republican Senator Bob Bennett from Utah, that much.
