Let me tell you this: every little hair on my neck knows more than you and all your scribes, and my shoe-buckles are more learned than your Galen and Avicenna, and my beard has more experience than all your high colleges.

Yes, there are two choices out there. Pursue every sexual urge, however ephemeral and no matter the consequences for oneself or others, or don't masturbate.

It doesn't matter. And Jason knows it. Otherwise he wouldn't have recanted.
Thank you Bob for removing my comments from your post. Honestly I really did not think that what I said was improper. But it is better to avoid any potential impropriety. And as noted, I treasure my service and also would never out rightly do anything to hurt anyone I worked with during that time.
My first post has magically disappeared as the original Book of Mormon plates.
So much about "minimal moderation".

But I think we must be over the board cautious about breaching these confidences.
In the Catholic faith (did I mention this?), it is one of the very few excommunicable offenses.
Accusing a fellow bishop of betraying confessional confidences is not a funny way to "pull someone's leg", Bob.
YOU are the true hypocrite!
You claim to be offended whenever Joseph Smith's name, or one of the other prophets are dragged through the mud, and then you throw out a "joke" about how someone conducts themselves in a sacred priesthood office.
You owe Jason an apology...not that I expect you to actually man up and do it.

I don't ever recall getting offended on this board. Lots of nasty things are said on this board against living and dead persons, and I don't get my nose out of joint -- ever.
Demands for apologies won't get you anywhere, nor insults or personal slams. They won't sway me. Get in line with those who have filed state bar complaints against me, made vulgar references to my wife and children, called my stake president; and called my firm's managment. I don't take it personally. If I did, I wouldn't be here.
I'm not going to repeat my justification for my comment to Jason. My position is fairly stated above.

Congratulations, Paracelsus! You answered the question perfectly in your very first post on the board. Awesome!
More bumping=less masturbating!
Problem solved.

I know of nothing poorer Under the sun, than you, you Gods! ... Should I honour you? Why?

I am ok with this and was ok with Bob's mild "rebuke." He kindly removed my comments when I asked him too. He helped nudge me a bit and reminded me that being very circumspect on issues like these is very important. No need for him to do anymore as far as I am concerned.
