Are Women More Spiritual Than Men?

LDS Bishop Bob sure does think so. Here is Part of one of his Posts, From the 'Mormonism's Greatest Downfall', Discussion Thread:

Plural marriage is an eternal principle. It is founded on the notion that there will be far fewer men who will accept the atoning sacrifice than women. It has to do, somehow, with the struggle in the Garden of Eden, the choice Eve made, and the promise that she would be saved in childbearing. I don't get it all, but the fact that women are more spiritual and willing to accept the spirit is a fact.

Is Plural Marriage (Polygyny) really an Eternal Principal? Are Women really more Spiritual and willing to accept the spirit than Men? Are there going to be a lot more Women than men within the Celestial Kingdom? Are men more likely to go to the Terrestial and/or Telestial Kingdoms? And if there are going to be a lot more women than men within the Celestial Kingdom, are the few men who are lucky enough to go into the Celestial Kingdom are going to have to enter into Polygamy?

The only men who become Gods, even the Sons of God, are those who enter into polygamy. Others attain unto a glory and may even be permitted to come into the presence of the Father and the Son; but they cannot reign as kings in glory, because they had blessing offered unto them, and they refused to accept them.

What about the fact that there has been more males born than females born here on Planet Earth, and that there have been more males than females who have died before the age of eight Years old?

I probably would have said females are more spiritual before I became a braindead cab driver. But for the last two and a half years I've met and talked with hundreds of people, and had my eyes open to many things I never realised. I'd venture the controversial opinion that men are more "spiritual" (that word would have to be properly defined) than women, if by that you mean more introspective, more inclined to talk about "philosophical" or "religious" ideas, and worry less about practical things, including money. And they tip a helluva lot more than women! I shouldn't laugh, because it is true, and this is where the practical side of women shows. They are more inclined to worry about money. Men tend to be "less worldly".

This of course is all anecdotal, but when a member of the Church, and even long after, I really thought it was the other way around. Now I don't.

It's all a cop out for men who are still jealous of woman's ability to create life, Brackie. The argument is more than a bit primitive. So they have to create a golden cage pedestal madonna in order to feel powerful.

It has nothing to do with God and everything to do with man. That's why it's relatively easy to figure out when a man is speaking as God's mouthpiece: God doesn't say stuff like Sec 132, most of the Old Testament, and virtually all of the Koran.

Well, When I was a TBM, I believed that Females were more Spiritual than males. I remember being taught this in Church, and Polygamy in the Celestial Kingdom made sense to me. Now, I believe that males and Females are pretty much the same in Spirituality. Both females and males can be Good and Spiritual, and both females and males can be bad and evil. However, I do Not believe that there are going to be a lot more Females than males in the Celestial Kingdom (Kingdom of Heaven), Mainly because there are about 100 Females born for every 105 Males. And, I definitely do Not believe that Plural Marriage (Polygamy) is an eternal principle. I do believe in the Book of Mormon teachings on Polygamy, that Polygamy is truly an abomination before the Lord God.
Here is again Jacob Chapter Two, Verses 23 through 34:

23 But the word of God burdens me because of your grosser crimes. Depends on what scriptures you believe in. Obviously, I believe in D&C 132, but I also believe in 2 Samuel 12:7-11. It is impossible to truthfully claim to be a Bible believing Christian and not accept God-authorized plural marriage.

[30] For if I will, saith the Lord of Hosts, raise up seed unto me, I will command my people [To Marry Monogamously]; otherwise they shall [will] hearken unto these things [The Sins of Polygamy].
