ARGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not sure whether to scream or cry. Why are some men such twits. Would you choose to live in a house that has disgusting clubeasy carpets that costs £72pw all inclusive that was a mess when they viewed it (my friends didn't view a sufficient number of houses before choosing 3 houses isn't enough to decide). In perhaps the worst area in this city(in the student area anyway) where the house is situated right in front of an old neglected(rather large) graveyard and it's scary. There is an alley way to the door and its a flat above a shop. With ONE entrance/exit. OR!!! A newly decorated house which is bigger and much closer to Uni in an area we know and with much better furniture at £60 pw all inclusive and no contract owned by people we actually know who can be trusted? Especially when we wont lose any money dropping out of the contract. He is just being a fricking controlling spoit dipwad who needs something pretty darn heavy shuvved up his arse! I could scream. I agreed to this dump of a flat because they made out it was the best they could find and made it out to be great on the phone and it is a dump. I hate it. Why settle for crap when we can have something much better for cheeper? Is he off his head??? He is being selfish. Also with the nicer house, the other housemate can move in early rather than have to look to stay with a friend between contracts.

"He" is one of the people I will be living with next year. We thought it smart to have an LDS house. I also went on a date with him but never went on a second because he is the sort of guy that would be controlling and abusive and all this proves my point. I'm really not looking forward to this I really am not. Remind me to never flat share with Mormons again.

Speaking from experience graveyards are great to have near the house. Dead people make fantastic neighbors. No parties, no loud noise, they never snoop, they don't litter; they're ideal.

Look for a different living situation...or did you sign a long term lease? If he's that bad why live with him? If it's not a long term lease I'd bail asap.

It's not long term, we can quit out of the contract by paying £100 but we save £576 on rent alone (not including the amount we save in travel). I can't bail if they don't. To move into the house we all need to move in. He is just being a controlling buttnugget. Graves are scary at night, drunks like to hang out there and homeless people it's an old grave site. The newer ones are further up which means the grave stones are damaged and everything is overgrown. So looking out the back windows you see graves.
