Temperal Lobe Epilepsy:

Not necessarily religious but consumed by religion.

That explains a lot. Thanks

Hitting too close to home for you, eh?

Remind you of your daddy when he burned you with cigarettes?

Helps me understand why people who hate and deny God come here.

All my friends smoked in Junior High. They kept after me to start. The first pack of cigarettes that I owned got chucked because my dad was moved upon by God to sit down with me and tell me that he did not want me to smoke. How did he even know? I never smoked.

Understand that before and for the forty + years aftewards my dad never had a "conversation" with me. When I tried to talk to him it ended before it began. We worked side by side many years building custom homes on Mount Olympus in Salt Lake City and he never engaged me once in "how are things going for you?" or "what's new?".

Nightlion - I had a challenged childhood too. My dad joined the marine corps at age 18, fought in a war, came home and became a drill instructor and then spent spent from 1958 to 1983 working for the largest police department on the west coast. He had experienced a lot. It was very hard for him to be positive. It was extremely difficult for him to compliment people. I started becoming very fearful at around age ten. Families are forever but not for our family as our dad doesn't believe or do the things that make families forever. As I look back I see that I grew up in two different worlds. The world of my father and the world of my mother. By the time I was in my twenty, I was excommunicated from the Church, paranoid, obsessive compulsive. Some say say I have Borderline Personality Disorder. The paranoia and compulsiveness don't interfere with my life as it did in my twenties. I was likely fifty percent disabled but I was somehow able to get through a community college and University program. As I became older, I learned to deal with the compulsive paranoid thoughts. Thank God they did not get to the point where I heard or saw things that were not there. I was at the Border but did not go that far. It's okay to be weird. It's okay to be weird in the wrong places. God loves you for being you. This is a fun place. Stick around. Provide some links to support your thoughts. Those help.

As to Mercury: he is a Pit bull: He can be super fun but if he gets mean you need to go hide (pick another thread) for a while.

I have preplanned what I would do if a mad dog came at me to take me down. I will shove my fist as far down his throat as I can and let him choke on it. I would have to be deftly accurate or he would chew me to pieces.

I did not want to make this thread about you. No, you barged into it yourself. If you are going to participate please stick to the subject at hand. There are plenty of other opportunities and methods for confronting me in telestial forum if you want to engage in personal attacks.

So lets get this back on track:
