Yes, The Jets were a Mormon group.


From Wikipedia:

Throughout the 1990s, the band introduced other members of the family to the band and turned more toward religious music, increasing their following among fellow Mormons.

Tron is great. The story isn't much, but the technology and effort it took to make it were truly groundbreaking. I went to a screening a few years ago and the director spoke beforehand. He held up his cell phone and said that "it had much more processing power than all the computers they used for the entire movie!"
