Are you an Anti-Mormon?
Are you an Anti-Mormon?
How do you refer to yourself in relation to Mormonism?
Should Anti-Mormon be restricted to the religious opposition to Mormonism?
Do you feel comfortable being called a critic - particularly if you find some aspects of Mormonism to be praiseworthy or defensible?
Or are these fork-tongued critics and anti-Mormons just being precious?

Re: Are you an Anti-Mormon?
I answered a "critic," as I'm no more anti-Mormon than I am anti-American when I feel something is wrong with what government does.
I often consider myself a "Mormon Emeritus," as I view most of my time in the church as educational, socially productive, a good support system, and a good foundation for my life experiences today.
But I feel no desire to return -- just as I don't want to go back to high school despite the great experiences I had there.

I chose "something else," because one category alone doesn't say enough. Often I am a critic, but sometimes I feel like an unbelieving Jack-Mormon. There you go.

Re: Are you an Anti-Mormon?
Hi Danna,
I object to the use of the term "Anti-Mormon" because it seems to describe someone who is against Mormon people. I have LDS friends in real life and IURL. :-) Sometimes I'm a critic, sometimes I'm an observer, sometimes I'm an investigator, sometimes I'm a supporter, sometimes I'm an adversary, but all of the time I'm a Jersey Girl.
So I voted for "something else".

Hello Danna,
I am Not an Anti-Mormon. I am a critic on a few things Mormon. However, I am Not a critic on everything Mormon. So, I voted for 'something else' here.
