I voted "something else" too.
Either "investigator" or "dude who's trying to figure out how he dunnit."

I'm a critic. What else, I'm also a virgo. There's plenty in Mormonism that's new and good, but the new isn't good and the good isn't new. It leaves a lot to criticize and I just love to criticize.

This was intended to be a reply to the what are you poll
Maybe there should be a new term called anti-mormonismist. Umm... say that three times really fast.

Re: New term
Shoot. How'd I do that. This is supposed to be a reply on the Poll thread re: are you a critic, antimormon, etc. Maybe a mod with some celestial powers could move this.

Re: Are you an Anti-Mormon?
You may have just inspired a million-dollar-making comedy routine.... you might be an anti-Mormon if.... you sip java while reading Todd Compton... or you voted for Huckabee in the Republican primary.... ok so it needs a little work.
...to answer the question, though, I'm a critic. Anti-Mormon is too broad. I'm fairly content with "anti-Mormonism" however, when that is narrowly defined as the additions to an already complete gospel.

I am a critic. I chose critic for ego reasons. have you ever noticed that people really listen to critics when they have something nice to say about the thing they are criticizing? "Even critics are forced to admit that, even though the church is a man made organization to give geriatrics a better place to holler 'get off my lawn' , that they do not, in fact ingest whole babies."

Re: Are you an Anti-Mormon?
I chose 'critic' because that was the option that best describes me on these boards, although I was very tempted to choose "here for the entertainment." For some reason, I find myself very intrigued by the unfettered interaction between the religious and the non. Although I'm highly critical of the church, I'm not all that invested in debating the various details or in bringing the church down (even if I thought I could).
Mormonism isn't special; I'm critical of all churches/religions, and I only happen to be here because I was born into the church and saw how it directly influenced my own family for the worse. In other words, I happen to be more familiar with this particular brand of hogwash.

God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

But there was no category for that.
