I don't think that's flaunting, bcspace. It looks to me more like a defensive mechanism: if people can see that he's done all these Mormon movies, they might get the impression that he doesn't work well with them thar perverts.

Is it againt Mormon morality to work well with gays? If he was still active LDS, would it be immoral for him to work well with gays, in whatever professional field he worked? Since he is working in a career field with a lot of homosexuals, it makes sense that he would put on his resume that he works well with gays. I don't think it has anything to do with him being exmormon. If he was active LDS I would expect the same thing on his resume.

There are Gays in the Dramatic Arts. Knowing that, it is imperative for him to say up front that he is not seething with prejudice and judgmentalism. By doing so, he is not suspect because of his background. That is his higher purpose and moral ground.
