Yes, I do. You were suspended for being too informal about the Lord's mother, the Virgin Mary. Catholics hold her in high regard, with the saying of the rosary and in song. By referring to her as mommy and crying to mommy, catholics on the board could be offended. You were banned for cultural insensitivity.

I do recall making some comment regarding prayer and how catholics whine to Gods mommy to get what they want

Let's imagine, for the sake of demonstration, that the whole entire Jersey clan were going to be in Gazland and there was a small block of free time, enough for an in real life meet up. Let's say that the meet up was attended by a Jersey Girl, Jersey Boy and perhaps a random sampling of the Jersey clan.

Let's just use that grouping as an example.

So, the group meets up and somewhere in the congenial conversation that one would hope to take place the topic of religion comes up since the in real life meet up stemmed from participation on a message board where the discussions involve religious topics, you refer to "Catholics whining to God's mommy", not realizing that you are surrounded by life long members of the Catholic church.

How do you think that would go over?

Where's the intolerance, In this sentence?I consider the ones offended by this childish sentence as immature idiots. The Men/Women who sit on to that hight throne and judge this kinds of nonsense as offensive need to get their head examined.
I seriously wonder whether any of them hold a full time job because they'd take crap ten times worse from their bosses than they dish it out on MAD board and swallow it since their livelihood depends on those checks.
A mature religion or person should take comments like this with a grain salt, see the humor in it, rather than demonizing the poster.
But of course that is too much to expect from Intellectual midgets, like Nemesis
