Mormon Expression podcast
The new podcast is now up on itunes. Our first episode will be release next week. There is a silly little promo up right now. We will be releasing weekly and we hopefully will have some interesting topics and discussions. You can find the feed at: Mormon Expression. You can also check out the website for discussion here.
If you have an interesting topic or take on Mormonism, not necessarily negative, you would be a great candidate to appear on the show. PM me and we will figure it out. Some of Mormonism best and brightest post here on this board, so don't miss your chance. You can also call into the show (taped) at (801) 906-6722.

John, I just listened to your promo. It sounds fantastic!!
I can't wait to listen to your first podcast.
This afternoon, I'll tell the cranky Mormon moms at the pool about your upcoming podcast. Any listener is a good listener, huh?

Hey, of our 5 panelists, 3 are still members and two still go to Church. So that's something. And KimberlyAnn, you promised me you would come on as a guest panelist. I haven't forgotten.

John,
I'm impressed. Looks like you've put together a very nice product here. What's on the agenda for the first episode?
If you ever want to talk about the Book of Abraham on the show, let me know.
Good luck,
-Chris

I'll leak it out, but just to you guys. Like in all things, schedules can change. Here is our recording schedule:
Episode 1: Leaving the Church but Not leaving it alone.
Episode 2: Internet vs. Chapel Mormons with Dr. Shades (Thanks Shades!)
Episode 3: Panelist discussion: Our favorite 3 things about the Church.
That's what has been scheduled so far. Maybe Episode #4 is Book of Abraham with Chris Smith? I sent you a PM to find out when it will work for.

John,
It looks wonderful so far! I really like that you included non-LDS in your invitation. Some of the panelists look strangely familiar to me ;-). What will the role of panelists be on your program?
Best of luck to you!

No, I haven't forgotten, either. I don't do much of that. :)
Also, just for your information, never read Schopenhauer at the pool. I'm depressed now. My life is nothing but a meaningless tragedy ending in inevitable death. Sort of takes the fun out of the "Sharks and Minnows" game.
The topics sound great, by the way!

The format is that we are on a skype conference call, we introduce the topic and then we yap about it like were at the hair salon. Really, its not call and response, its open discussion. We will have some regular panelists, but will try to rotate in some new voices or subject matter experts to keep it fresh. The panelists have the topics in advance so they can prepare and might have a couple of points we want to cover, but its not scripted to keep it organic. We will see if it works.
And yes, part of the fun might be trying to figure out their alternate identities, but I will never tell. ;)
by the way, Jersey, I am look for a panel of never-mos who are Mormon watchers for a future episode. If you are interested in participating, let me know.
