Did anyone know Deenie the Dreaded Single Adult at Rfm?

Post by _Blixa »

What a hilarious, witty, smart and wonderful person. She was battling leukemia...for all we knew she was doing better--she's been playing her dulcimer and autoharp with her band recently--- but she died yesterday apparently.

I'm heartbroken.

Yes, I remember her. She seemed to be a positive and upbeat person.

That's sad news. She will be missed.

 I had no idea she even had lukemia. I am so sorry. All of her posts were so positive. I haven't read over at RfM for quite some time, but her posts were ones that I always looked for.

My heart goes out to her family and friends.

Thank you for letting us know, blixa. I did not know Deenie, but do remember reading posts by her. I'm sure her loss is devastating to anyone who knew her.

Blixa, I'm so sorry. I never had the privilege of meeting Deenie, but I feel like I know her from her posts. I am very sad to hear of her passing.

I remember her funny stories about the Singles Wards and the weird dates she had. And how when she was scheduled to go into the hospital for a long the folks at RfM scrambled to find her a laptop.

Deenie was certainly hilarious, witty, smart and wonderful. And talented, too. What an amazing lady.

Oh my.

She was a prolific poster on RFM and I engaged with her occasionally when I was a rabid RFM-ite.

"Deenie The Dreaded Single Adult" at RfM

Apparently she passed away last week. I learned this about an hour ago at RfM.

She was one of the first people I chatted with online about my doubts about the church.

Why do the good ones have to go so soon and old bastards live into their 90s and beyond?
