Re: @eterson "TEMPLE" Fireside
I assume it's also intended to be mocking and demeaning (in some vague and rather early-adolescent way) to refer to me as "Bishop" when nothing here has anything to do with my being a bishop.
Any adults around here?

Plumber,
He is a school teacher for crying out loud! He works at a school and he teaches. You don't have to call him a doctor. Just say, "Hey you".
Donut guzzler? It would be wise if Dan cut down on eating donuts. Eating too many of those will get you fat. The Word of Wisdom teaches us we shouldn't get fat. Fat people need to cut down on how much they eat.

Fat people should not EVER grow mustaches. Come on, what are you thinking?
Does the Word of Wisdom say anything about that?

Hey Bishop Danny, how are ya? You think I am being demeaning? I think you should be proud to be a bishop, every body loves that! I am shocked and disappointed that you would be ashamed of so high a calling.
I wish I was a bishop. Paul, can you ordain me a bishop?
Re: @eterson "TEMPLE" Fireside
Plumber,
I can't ordain you a bishop. I don't have the authority or calling to do so. I doubt you'll ever become a bishop in the Mormon church. So forget it.
Now, if I was the prophet, the first thing I'd do is tell all the men they don't have to wear suits anymore. Just wear a clean nice shirt and dress pants. I'd also do away with the tie. In fact, I'd tell the general priesthood body of the church that ties are no longer a part of Mormonism. Bishops could grew beards, sealers can be divorced, and there will be no more harrasing young men about when they touch their private parts, because God knows they ALL do and it's a shame they have to lie to the bishop when he asks.
What was this thread about? I forgot.

Figures you would take a thread that's actually about you and point out that's it's about you by pretending to fear it might become about you.
You need to grow a real self-esteem that's based on genuine self-love, not this obvious self-loathing/self-gratification based on cheap accomplishments.
*sigh* I honestly pity you.

I think that the running commentary by Paul O. And GP here provide an interesting contrast to the Fireside's theme of ascent to the temple. Well done.
