Suspended?

I've been suspended at MADb. Any idea why?

The short answer? It must be the wrong time of the month for one or more of the Mods.

We all know that if Pahoran/Selek/Droopy/etc. were non-believers, they would have been forever banned from MADb a long time ago... so I will stop preaching to the choir.

I have a few posts at MADB (as 4truth) and even in my small amount of time there I've had my share of run-ins with Pahoran. There are ways to express disagreement without being unabashedly condescending. Pahoran doesn't seem to know that.

It's just not worth the time and effort to post there when you know going into it there is a double standard. They gotta protect their home turf.

JohnStuartMill: I'm increasingly of the opinion that critics should boycott MADB. Their presence gives the board a legitimacy which it does not deserve, given its gross moderatorial double-standard.

Some of the moderators I think are better than others. Boycotting is indeed an option... but the problem for me is, it is hard to boycot what I am addicted to. ;)

I get the feeling that some moderators are more conservative or liberal than others, and that they don't always agree. But yeah... there are definitely advantages that believing apologists have over there.

I agree. I am appalled at what some people are allowed to get away with over there. It is a complete double-standard.
