Re: I just learned what Proposition 8 was and...
I'm for gay marriage because to grant it brings gay people the right to marry one other adult brings them up to the same level as straight couples. I figure they should be allowed to step on the same land mine that so many hetero couples do. That I probably will step into some day. Let them make their own choices, at least give them the option, to take advantage of or not, like heterosexuals do.

Whatever appears to be against the Book of Mormon is going to be overturned at some time in the future. So we can be pretty open minded.-charity 3/7/07

You have a beach house in Florida? You've been holding out on me! When's our next party?
Nevermind the beach house. There are other and more important things for us to address. Okay, scroll up and look at Darin's AV. Is he not a total ringer for Eric Stromer?

Liz,
I need a determination on the Darin vs Eric Stromer issue. This needs to be resolved.

LOLOL...
Ah, that's too funny, Jersey Girl. I used to get people comparing me to Eric Stromer back east, prior to moving here to Utah a year ago April. I haven't gotten it since (til today)... I figured people just don't watch the "gay" HGTV channel as much! (Or is he on TLC...? Same diff...)
I really don't think I look that much like him in person--not that I'd mind, if I did! ;)

P.S. You can check out my Facebook profile for additional pics to further make that determination for yourselves. :D

Hi BCSpace,
Question: Do you also believe that there is no compelling reason for the state to recognize Plural (Polygamous) Marriages???
Is bcspace ever going to answer my Question here???

"By your logic, not being able to marry a 16 year old girl or another woman is also an inequality."
Yes, it is. The legal age of marriage in a number of States has been lower than 16 in the past and some still have this on the books. Marrying more than one wife or more than one husband hurts no one as long as all are adults entering into the marriages freely.
Allow any two or more people to marry as long as they are of legal age and competent to make the decision to do so. It does not pose a threat to marrige as we know it now. Might even slow the divorce rate a bit.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you do criticize them you'll be a mile away and you'll have their shoes.
