What extra-ordinary claims to LDS make about themselves?

Nehor,

Please don't play stupid. LDS people are the only ones on earth with the gift of the Holy Ghost. Further, LDS leaders are the only ones on earth with God's true priesthood. These are extra-ordinary claims.

Add to this that we are taught that our leaders have a "power of discernment" and the claims become even more extra-ordinary.

So, with the Holy Ghost, the Priesthood, AND the power of discernment all in operation -- this guy STILL slipped through.

A failure of Leadership to receive inspiration about what kind of person this teacher really was. Very simple but a problem repeated over and over and over again.

No, It is not repeated over and over. No more&less than an average corporation.
I consider myself a smart guy, do all hiring, since I own my company. Half of the people I hired,
I had to let them go.
Law of averages are basically blind. I venture to say, Church does better job at hiring than me
because they have more money to invest in background, character information.
Forget the "inspiration" crock, they don't even use that word publicly that much anymore.

Bite me. The guy works for CES, and if CES has this kind of predator working for it, then CES needs to change the way it hires folks so as to better prevent something like this in the future, rather than (as you seem to endorse) engaging the typical 'place head in sand' response.

Ah, my dear bishop, only you would equate "truth" with "smear." Carry on.

I don't have to play stupid.

I just finished reading King Benjamin's speech about how worthless and useless we all are. I believe every word. I fail to see how anyone who believes this can believe they are extraordinary in the sense of moral supremacy.

We are in complete agreement. However, you must recognize that the Church *does* place priesthood leadership in a place of "moral supremacy" by designating them as being "Judges in israel" and as having the "power of discernment."

Like I said..... these are good men who can give good advice. That's it.

Being a Judge in Israel means you're morally superior? This is like saying being a therapist or a regular judge or a doctor makes you morally superior because you are there to help others and have the skills to do so.

Pretty sure my Bishop would disagree with that. It means you have a specific responsibility and some gifts tied in. That's it.

LDS, Inc. has preached it is led by The Lord himself. Hardly an 'average corporation'.
It appears to me you really are 'that stupid' if you cannot see the truth here.
