Additional thought/impression: I haven't seen an apologist on the boards whose style, approach, be it strident or round-a-bout, isn't matched at least one for one by critics.

Daniel Peterson wrote:Oh yes, karl61. I think you've launched a winner here. This is a subject absolutely ideally fitted for this board.
The Scratches will all want to weigh in, and, if you're really lucky, Some Schmo and poor Antishock8 and Joey and solomarineris and TAK and Mercury and some of the other major lights of the board will drop in and deposit something here.
And your hero, you say, is truth.

somebody oughtta was your mouth with soap DCP.

Edited to ask a Q.

You can look for female names among those who have published with the Maxwell Institute (since the MI invariably = apologetics):

Off the top of my head I can name Shirley Ricks, Diane Wirth, and Alison Coutts.

Just because Dr. Peterson was recently crowned King of Apologetics,
there is no basis to accuse him of any of those nine charges. He does
not feel he is entitled to any special privileges, in that his new chair
at the Maxwell Institute is only a few inches taller than before.

So take that anti-apologists!

At allpsych.com, it describe "projection" as: "the defense mechanism whereby we transfer or project our feelings about one person onto another."

Psychology is the new gypsy reinvented to cash in on the fact that we can admit every human tendancy. Every fortune is true and every misfortune is true. When people freak out we see their humanity exposed and blame it. Just so long as the gypsies get paid.
