I didn't understand this post when I saw it. I now understand it to be an accusation that I'm using a sock puppet in discussion. It appears that AlmaBound thinks I'm marg or vice versa.

I think I'm going to take the more important point regarding polygamy which Beastie addressed and that is whether more women to men ..was a driving factor in early Mormon leader's minds.

There is proof that your accusation is false, AlmaBound. I don't know why you thought I was marg but you're obviously not paying attention. marg and I have known eachother online for 10+ years. Neither marg nor I would find it agreeable to being mistaken for eachother.

Next time you set out to solve a puzzle like this, try paying attention before you call into question the integrity of other people. It's wrong to falsely accuse people and certainly wrong to be so disrespectful to someone who has always shown you respect.

I don't play sock puppet games with people. When I used the Board Police handle, it was a result of a chatroom conversation and people knew it was me. I don't play subterfuge games and I don't like people falsely accusing me of doing so. Everyone here is well aware of who marg is and who Jersey Girl is.

1. Get familiar with the Mormon Discussors around you.
2. Get familiar with their religious affiliation or lack thereof.
3. Get familiar with their online history.
4. Notice if long time posters accuse them of sock puppetry fraud.
5. Check the time stamps of their posts. Are they online simultaneously?
6. Never pull false accusations out of your butt, you might dislodge your head.
