Trivia question -
Of the 1,042 current major league baseball players and managers, how many have a college degree? (Answer below)
Joke -
Guy walks into the bedroom carrying a sheep in his arms and says,"Honey, this is the cow I make love to when you have a headache."
The wife, laying in the bed reading a book, looks up and says,"If you weren't such an idiot, you'd know that's a sheep, not a cow."
The guy replies, "If you weren't such a presumptuous Bitch, you'd realize I was talking to the sheep."
Trivia answer -
According to a Wall Street Journal article, only 26 of the 1,042 major league players and managers have college degrees. Three of those -- George Sherrill, A.J. Ellis, and Shawn Kelley -- played their college ball at Austin Peay State University and have graduated from that school. Two others -- Craig Counsell and Aaron Heilman -- graduated from Notre Dame. Two universities have accounted for nearly one-fifth of the college graduates in the majors.
Having worked in baseball for nearly 20 years, 26 college grads is not a big surprise. Ballplayers are not real bright.
