My son is a heroin addict and is on probation for possession after I bailed him out of jail. I haven’t seen or heard from him since January. The last time I saw him it was because a drug lord had literally kicked in the apartment door and stole the only thing he had of value, his laptop. He wanted me to come to the apartment and offer advice.

I learned recently from my xwife that my son was shacking up on someone’s couch in Dallas. I wouldn't be surprised to learn he is performing tricks for drugs.

I miss him and love him even though he would steal the pills out of cabinet and the money out of wallet as soon as my back was turned. I cought him stealing pills once. I love my son.
