One Good Man - New Mormon propaganda from Christian Vuissa
Since Dutcher has given the finger to Mormonism it looks like the vapid pool of Mormon film has birthed another movie. The trailer for "One Good Man" is out and it looks like a bias confirming ****pile.
Here:

angry Non-mormons are told to wait outside the temple for their sons wedding, the missionaries bring a non member to church and other worn out Mormon movie cliché.
Will someone put a bullet in the idea that Mormons can mainstream via cinema?

I am not sure the point of telling a group of people they can't make movies. It is a free country and supposed to be a pool of ideas from all sorts of areas in life.

I don't understand the point of coming back to a forum where you were summarily outed as a tool.
What am I saying?! I should shut up before you make false accusations and threaten to sue me. I should be more careful.
Skains is pathetic.
Edited to add: Where did I "tell a group of people they can't make movies"?

Hum. I think I might try to see it. I like the idea that Mormonism in general is becoming more sensitive to issues such as those who can't go to the temple. From the trailer, I think this might be better than the pulp that has been served up, but we will see.

I thought it was funny to see what looked like the book "Rough Stone Rolling" by Bushman on his bedside nightstand.
I am curious to see how the film deals with the issue of non members forbidden from witnessing their own child's wedding. It's nice to see an LDS film address this. Now I'm looking forward to seeing it.

From it what I saw was the attitude of "the nonmormons are unjustifiably angry, they think were a cult" etc.

So I am confused. Are you interested in my viewpoint or do you want to name-call and insult? I'd like to get that sorted out before I waste time on a possible useless path of communication.

I think I agree. The trailer looks ok. Also, having been there, done that and bought the t shirt I could relate to some parts of the trailer. I would see it.

As the son of a Bishop, I think that most members don't "get" how difficult the job is and how much time it takes. The number of requests and demands put on the bishops is unbelievable. Maybe a film like this can help members understand that the bishop is not just a pawn in spousal disputes.

John,
Well said. I think its an interesting thing to watch a man change from the person he is at the start of a Bishops calling, and the man that comes out on the other side. It does remarkable things to them.
