A question for The Nehor

Post by _Dr. Shades »

Dear The Nehor:

What on earth is that. . . thing in your avatar??

.

I think it's kinda cool.

It reminds me of something out of Ghostbusters!

It's just yet another attempt to distance himself from the dorkus maximus self-portrait that served as his avatar for so long in the beginning. (I believe Trevor's pointing out that it looked like a Hitler Youth squad photo was the last straw.)

 That's a cool adjective! I like it!

We need to add that to the vault of MDB "Scratchisms".

I actually took it down because the photo was old. It's from almost 5 years ago. I looked different then. If I posted more on the other board I'd change it there too. Still, feel free to hold on to your delusions.

In answer to you calling it dorky I would offer that I used to use that photo all over the internet and received many compliments. I'll take the opinion of women my own age over that of an anonymous internet nut that despises me and has an unhealthy interest in my sexual life. But, that's just me.

As for the image, it is the pit lord Mannoroth from Warcraft. He's known for turning the orcs into bloodthirsty savages by having the chieftains drink of his blood. He died at the hand on an orc freeing his people.

As for why I have it, I like it. It just looks like a good demon.

You're not being honest, The Nehor. You took down the original photo---i.e., the one of the blond-haired tool w/ the blue t-shirt---only to replace it with yet another image of a blond-haired, nebbish dork, only this one was strictly a head-shot. It kind of had some kind of smudgy effect on it, and the skin tone was ruddier. (It was this second pic that gave occasion for Trevor's Hitler Youth comment.)
So: don't try to claim that age had anything to do with it.

In answer to you calling it dorky I would offer that I used to use that photo all over the internet and received many compliments. Oooh! You go, The Nehor! Compliments from women on the Internet! I bet your ego is just soaring.

How can I possibly resist such a sincere and kindly request?

I lost my old images and don't feel like looking them up. Here's a list:

First, I had an actual picture of me, if you want to find it, it's still my avatar on MA&D.

Second, I used the KFC picture that I used just recently.

Third, I used this image.

I used two alternate names while here.

The first was Belial where I used an image similar to this one.

The second no one really knows about and I didn't do much with it. It had no avatar.

Nehors original avatar looked kinda like this:
