I'm a huge Dexter fan. I've been watching it faithfully since its inception. Now that my cred is established, I have to say that last Sunday's episode was, by far, the worst episode of the entire series. I'm sick of whiny Rita and I can't stand the Angel/LaGuerta relationship subplot. They're going on too many tangents and not focusing on what makes this series so great...Dexter. Season 2 was my favorite. So far, this season is a bust. Just my opinion.

I really just started watching Dexter a few months ago. I knew the basic premise, and watched Season 3 on Showtime on Demand, but I did not see Season 2. I may see if I can rent it.

As far as the Angel/LaGuerta relationship...I agree. I think it is basically at a stand-still for now, though.

Rita really didn't annoy me until this last episode. I thought she was borderline bitchy when she yelled at Dexter for not coming up with something to say as fast as she would have liked him to.

I think that Rita really does love Dexter, though. And I think he loves her, too. I actually like them together.

The relationship that actually intrigues me the most is the brother/sister relationship between Dexter and Deb. They are like two lost souls. I think that if Dexter ever reveals his "dark secret", it will be to Deb.

I agree with you guys that if Dexter ever tells anyone, it will be Deb. She has really had some difficult things happen to her on the show.

Was that Arthur's/Trinity's wife he got into the bathtub with? Now I feel like I should go back and rewatch the past episodes where he killed someone. I think a lot of pieces would fall together.

Wow, silentkid. You're the opposite of me. So far the second season has been my least favorite, and I'm loving this season. Lila annoyed the hell out of me, and I was sad to lose Doakes at the end of it.

But, I'm still glad we like the same show.

Do you have a link to the place you bought it online (so I can see it for myself)?

OMG!!!

How do you think that Dexter is going to live with himself after finding out he killed the wrong guy? It seemed like the artist he killed by mistake was a slimeball, though. (OK, this is bad. I'm justifying a serial killer's actions. LOL)

I can't help it, though. I just love Dexter.

Who do you think that Trinity is building the coffin for? He is definitely getting more and more crazy as time wears on. I really hope that Dexter finally kills him next episode. I have a feeling that there is more cat and mouse games to happen, though. Either that, or Dexter does succeed in getting Trinity, but then finds out that it's Trinity's son who killed Lundy and shot Deb.

My favorite line last night:

"Mornings with Trinity can be murder."

I KNEW it.

When Dexter was investigating Farrow's studio, I was like, "How does he know that Farrow killed those women? How does he know that it wasn't Farrow's 'trusty assistant'?"

Rather sloppy on Dexter's part, in my opinion. He should turn himself in, but he won't. The guy took sick photos, but he didn't deserve to die.

My vote on the coffin is that Trinity was building it for himself. Remember in the alley behind the bar when he antagonized that guy and tried to get him to beat him up?

Some favorite lines from previous shows:

Dexter- "Arthur has a place for his lamp."

Rita- "We're always running out of milk. Did you get me a cow too?"
