No need to be anti-mormon in your cheese selection. ;-)

I admit, I was tickled by the name of that cheese. But its really good and featured in a Wallace and Gromit film!

Well all I can say is FOOD and lots of it.

All the traditional stuff really with shrimp for an appetizer and a bizzillion different pies from Apple, Cherry, Pumpkin, Grape, Pecan, Key Lime, Chocolate pudding to who knows what. Also cookies! I no longer can stuff myself like I used to. My body just won't let me. But I still consume a lot. And love it.

And what I will do it in the AM I will ride my bike for at least 1 hour if not more and burn hopefully about 800-1000 calories. That way I can indulge and not worry about how much extra calories I am putting on. Sick I know. But I gage what I eat these days by how much time it takes to burn on a bike. 90 minutes will take care of most of my dinner tomorrow but not the pie!

Everyone have a blessed and wonderful day!

As a substitute, I will put crumbled Ritz crackers on top of the broccoli-cheddar casserole to help nourish and strengthen our bodies.

Jason, a sincere prayer will disallow the calorie excess from the key-lime pie. Enjoy.

Just warn me when you do so I can jump out of the way. It's pretty strong stuff. What a combination, Wild Paul and Wild Turkey. Everyday will be Thanksgiving.

I can honestly say I've never had grape pie.

You have a great day, too, Jason!

We are having a dinner party of 30-35 this year. I am doing the turkey, stuffing, gravy, sweet potato souffle, and pecan pie.

Here's my food blog from last year's Thanksgiving dinner;

Here's the menu:

Deviled Eggs
Fruit Salad
Vegetable platter

Stuffing
garlic mashed potatoes
turkey gravy
curried gravy
fresh cranberry sauce
cranberry asparagus/sweet corn
Rolls, lots of rolls

banana pudding
sweet potato souffle
cherry pie
pumpkin pie
pumpkin rolls
lemon meringue pie
pecan pie

Wine, sparkling cider and water
Theories pass. The frog remains.

Me neither! What is a grape pie? I've done a faux pecan pie out of grape nuts before. Is that what you are referring to?

No,no. A grape pie is a pie that has grapes as its filling. They are quite good. But a few I have had are fantastic and much of it is based on the crust.

Interesting! I've had raisin pie, but not grape. I'll have to try making one.

We're having a family potluck-style dinner. I'm bringing the sweet potato casserole, salad, and rolls.

Speaking of Christmas dinner - I've been known to order Chinese, or make tacos!
