Christmas/Holiday Movies you love or are addicted to

Post by _Jersey Girl »

I'm sure I'm the only lunatic on the board who is addicted to a holiday movie.

My all time favorite is the original Home Alone. It's not the story line that keeps me addicted to it. It's the staging, scenery and the musical score. I love looking at every single inch of that house and love listening to how the music flows seamlessly throughout the film.

I watch it in summer as a mental escape, that's how bad it is!

What about you?

Christmas Story.

My family watches it every year on Christmas Eve. The kid's tongue stuck to the pole, the inner monologue on getting the gun, and Ralphie.

I'm a big kid at Christmas. Here are some of my favorite Christmas movies. I own all of these:

"A Charlie Brown Christmas" - Story behind this one....Every Christmas my nieces and nephews beg me to play "Linus and Lucy", the song Schroeder plays...on Christmas Eve. They all dance to it while I play it on the piano.

"Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer"- I have loved this movie since I was a kid. It's awesome. Wes and I have been known to watch this one in the summer. LOL

"Miracle on 34th Street"---The Original....not the remake. Natalie Wood's performance as the little girl is priceless. And Maureen O'Hara is the best actress ever!

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" - the original cartoon. Boris Karloff is the best grinch and narrator on the planet.

"Oh yeah? Well I TRIPLE DOG DARE YA!"

That's one of my favorites too. I like the inner monologue feature, but my favorite thing of all is the Dad swearing a blue streak.

"Did Hard?" Is that a code word for "Die Hard?"
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

It had better be a typo. If it's a porn reference it needs to get off my nice thread.

Yep, a TYPO guys. Sorry 'bout that. Too little sleep the last two days of driving to get back to Northern Utah through some pretty icy winter roads after working on the new place a bit.
